We look forward to getting to know you. /p pfull time - unlimited /p h3Your contribution to the energy transition /h3 pAs our Senior Legal Counsel for Permitting, you will support the Business Development department in managing their daily activities, with particular attention on permitting and regulatory activities as well as real estate topics. This position reports to the Head of Legal and Compliance. /p pMain activities of the role will involve providing legal support in the following phases: /p ul libOrigination: /b negotiation of real estate contracts with counterparties /li libPermitting: /b liaising with public authorities and participating to authorization procedures /li libLitigation: /b supporting the Head of legal and compliance in structuring and managing all legal actions related to the projects (particularly, administrative actions), in case, liaising also with external consultants/law firms /li /ul pYou can look forward to the following tasks; /p ul liGiving support in public law and administrative law, permitting procedures and administrative processes with focus in the origination, development, and authorization of renewable energy powerplants /li liKeeping track of administrative and civil claims related to the renewable energy sector /li liAnalysing, negotiating and drafting legal notes, contracts, and related documents /li liDemonstrating thorough knowledge of the regulatory framework of the renewable energy sector /li liSupporting the Head of Legal and Compliance in carrying out, scheduling and prioritizing daily activities /li liLiaising with external law professionals (law firms, consultants, notaries and the like) /li liInteracting with other teams as the need might be /li liIn addition to the above, the person could be asked to conduct other legal tasks, supporting the legal department needs /li /ul h3Your energy is required /h3 pYou impress us with these qualifications; /p ul li8 to15 years of experience in legal roles, ideally within the renewable energy sector or infrastructure projects /li liProfessional qualification to practice law /li liMaster’s degree in law, preferably with a focus on Administrative Law, Environmental Law, or Energy Law /li liProven track record in permitting processes for large-scale photovoltaic or energy infrastructure projects, including interaction with public authorities and regulatory bodies /li liIn-depth knowledge of national and regional permitting regulations, environmental impact assessments, and land use planning /li liExperience in managing legal aspects of project development, including zoning, authorizations, and compliance with environmental and administrative requirements /li liStrong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage relationships with municipalities, agencies, and external consultants /li liExcellent command of English, both written and spoken (C1 level or higher) /li /ul h3Your energy booster at JUWI /h3 pAt JUWI, an inspiring working environment awaits you.
