We are looking for a new Resource:
Junior Sourcing Specialist Accessories and Special Projects ( maternity leave substitution ) to join Dolce&Gabbana Beauty Sourcing Team.
The Resource will be responsible of handling scouting, pricing analysis, sampling and negotiation for its own category suppliers’ portfolio, to support his/her responsible in the negotiation of the best purchasing conditions in support to the Marketing, as internal customer, for the new-launch strategies on all distribution markets world-wide for following Category’s Suppliers Portfolio of non-cosmetic items:
GWP (gift with purchase)
Sellable accessories
Possibly other categories
In particular the new Resources will:
Monitor the reference market to scout for new potential supply sources and be the leading guide of their evaluation and onboarding process
Lead the tenders for the launch of new products with the involved suppliers, in response of Marketing and Go-To-Market plans. Negotiate the best conditions in terms of innovation, timing and pricing with the involved suppliers.
Keep a constant eye on category portfolio’s best balance in terms of production capacities and suppliers’ potentials and specialties, to ensure the involvement of the best players per each new project
Work for priorities, matching the pace of project timings, cooperating in synergy with all other internal stakeholders and keep by monitoring the timing in the supply chain.
Requirements
Degree in Economics or equivalent
Prior experience (1 year) dealing with either European and Asian Suppliers
Very fluent in written and spoken English
Attitude for negotiation and analytical skills
Good use of MS Excel
Best attitude for multitasking and to interface with several internal stakeholders
Proactive attitude
Flexibility and attitude to change
