FTAI Aviation is seeking an experienced and detail‐driven Cost Analyst with a strong aviation and inventory management background to support our rapidly growing operations at QuickTurn Engine Center located at Rome Fiumicino. This role plays a critical part in ensuring cost transparency, inventory accuracy, and efficiency across our maintenance, repair and exchange operations. The ideal candidate brings hands‐on experience in inventory management systems and aviation environments and is motivated by working close to the operation—where financial insight directly influences performance, profitability, and scale. Key Responsibilities: Engine Costing and Analysis: Lead cost‐per‐engine and cost‐per‐module visibility, completing work‐order closeouts in QuickTurn's ERP (Quantum) for engines and modules. Verify labor hours, material usage, and repair charges to ensure accurate and complete cost capture across the repair lifecycle. Cost Analysis & Optimization Analyze, monitor, and forecast costs related to engines, modules, and critical components. Identify cost drivers, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement without compromising quality or turnaround times. Inventory Tracking & Reporting Utilize inventory management software to track and manage aviation parts and engine inventory. Ensure accurate, real‐time inventory reporting, supporting maintenance planning, material availability, and production flow. Strengthen inventory forecasting to align with throughput and workload demands. Data, Metrics & Performance Reporting Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) including inventory turnover, parts availability, cost per hour, and run‐rate trends. Deliver clear, actionable analysis that supports data‐driven decision‐making and continuous improvement. Cross‐Functional Collaboration Partner closely with procurement, operations, engineering, and finance teams to align cost
