The Buyer – Animal Health is responsible for ensuring the efficient, compliant, and cost‑effective procurement of veterinary pharmaceutical products. The role plays a key part in managing strategic supplier relationships, identifying new sourcing opportunities, and guaranteeing continuity of supply in line with regulatory, quality, and business requirements.Operating within a regulated pharmaceutical supply chain, the position acts as a strategic interface between external partners and internal stakeholders, contributing to operational excellence and sustainable growth.Key Responsibilities Manage and further develop the existing supplier portfolio for veterinary pharmaceutical products, ensuring reliability, quality, and performance.Conduct supplier scouting and qualification, identifying new sourcing opportunities aligned with business needs and regulatory standards.Oversee the procurement and replenishment of Animal Health products, ensuring timely availability and supply continuity.Lead negotiation activities with suppliers, including pricing, commercial terms, lead times, and service levels.Issue and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with internal procedures.Monitor supplier performance through KPIs and service level metrics, driving continuous improvement and corrective actions where required.Act as a key interface with internal teams (Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Logistics, Planning, Sales, Finance), ensuring alignment across the supply chain.Support compliance with GxP, GDP, and relevant veterinary pharmaceutical regulations.Contribute to risk management activities related to suppliers, market shortages, and supply disruptions.Education & Experience Degree in Economics, Supply Chain, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Veterinary Sciences, or related fields.Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in procurement or sourcing within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or animal health sector.Proven experience in managing sup
