Business Data Analyst – Service

The Challenge
We are looking for a data-driven and solution-oriented professional to join our Service team as a Business Data Analyst. In this role, you will help transform field service data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions and operational improvements.
You’ll operate at the intersection of service operations, data analysis, and digital innovation.

What you will do
The Business Data Analyst collects and analyzes service data from various sources. You will create reports and dashboards to support internal stakeholders. You will identify trends and potential issues to improve service quality.
ACTIVITIES AND AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
* Manage and review internal dashboards for internal key stakeholders using field data (e.g., service center performances, PEX trends, service quality metrics, etc.)
* Analyze data holistically, connecting insights to understand not only product quality trends in the market but also the overall quality of service delivered to customers.
* Understand data generation mechanisms, ensure data integrity and consistency across various databases and sources
* Identify root causes of low data quality and proactively conduct in-depth analysis of data anomalies and inconsistencies, proposing improvements
* Work across data environments to extract actionable insights, early warnings and negative trends
* Use advanced analytical tools (such as Excel, Power BI, Qlik, etc.) to support reporting and decision-making
* Utilize AI techniques knowledge to develop systems capable of autonomously detecting early warnings, negative performance trends, and data inconsistencies and eventually suggest potential solutions
What you need to succeed
Must have
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Professional experience: Experience with service-related data, including technical service reporting and customer support performance
Technical Skills:
* Ability to navigate and interpret large datasets across different sources
* Advanced proficiency in Excel and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik), with the capability to create customized dashboards and reports adapted to different internal stakeholders.
* Knowledge of data analysis techniques and AI/ML fundamentals
Soft skills:
* Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
* High attention to detail and a data-quality mindset
* Ability to think beyond the data, comprehending market dynamics and synthesizing insights holistically
* Self-driven to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team
* Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Strong attitude to learn and apply innovative solutions
Language : Fluency in Italian & English (spoken and written)
