Specialty Clients Operations Manager : WE OFFER : Purpose :Provides required technical and operational oversight for Specialty Clients as the key coordination point with associated organizational divisions (i.e. Actuary, Customer Service, State Relations, IT, Marketing, etc.), as well as with the associated program administrators. Provides oversight and guidance for Specialty Clients' internal and external facing project initiatives. Roles & Responsibilities : Oversees the servicing of agent accounts for policy and premium processing, including new business, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements and error processing transactions. Key contact for downstream reporting to support finance, accounting & reporting needs. Provides oversight and direction in developing and implementing processing improvements and solutions. Collaborates with Operational Risk & Compliance on the development of internal processing controls & agent operations controls. Key contact for agency operations relative to audit or regulatory examinations. Provides technical expertise relative to agency interface and AMIG’s policy processing systems. Coordinates projects within department; acts as the liaison between business and technical areas. Participates in the evaluation and onboarding of new opportunities. Oversees the required documentation of agent accounts as well as the standard templates utilized by Specialty Clients. Oversees the planning activities of the department such as annual planning, executive reviews, strategy sessions, department meetings, etc. Assists in the development of Specialty Clients' goals & objectives and monitoring the achievement of the goals. WE EXPECT : Qualifications : Bachelor's degree required Project Management Certification; Pursuit of Property & Casualty Insurance coursework, preferred Have strong knowledge of insurance business ops Proficient with MS Office Suite Understanding of IT environment & Systems Development Life Cycle Have cognos & IC Legacy System experience Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
