About the Opportunity
AD Energy Recruitment is representing a leading international clean energy technology provider, seeking an Project Manager to join their growing engineering and delivery team in Northern Italy.
This is an exciting opportunity to take full project ownership — managing the design, execution, and delivery of complex industrial and renewable energy plants across Europe. The successful candidate will lead multidisciplinary teams, oversee budgets and schedules, and ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Mission
Deliver projects that meet or exceed contractual, financial, and timeline objectives — ensuring the safe, efficient, and profitable execution of industrial and renewable energy facilities.
Key Objectives
* Deliver assigned projects on schedule and within budget.
* Maintain high standards of client satisfaction.
* Ensure timely preparation of engineering, commercial, and reporting documentation.
* Identify and mitigate project risks while capitalizing on revenue opportunities.
* Foster effective communication and collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
* Lead the full project lifecycle — from contract review and planning to execution and handover.
* Manage customer relationships and official correspondence.
* Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and purchasing activities.
* Coordinate and motivate internal project teams, setting clear priorities and deliverables.
* Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reporting documentation.
* Support sales and contract negotiation with technical and scheduling input.
* Drive safety and quality compliance throughout all project phases — design, construction, commissioning, and start-up.
Requirements
Education & Experience
* Degree or technical diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
* Proven experience as a Project Manager in industrial plant construction or energy infrastructure (biogas/renewable energy preferred).
Technical Competencies
* Strong knowledge of contract management for complex turnkey projects.
* Skilled in budgeting, scheduling, and resource coordination.
* Experience managing client and supplier relationships.
* Fluent in Italian with strong English communication skills.
* Experience within biogas or renewable energy sectors is a strong plus.
Cross-Functional Competencies
* Commercial awareness of how project performance impacts overall business operations.
* Understanding of sales, procurement, and supply chain strategies.
* Capable of identifying high-value and critical items within procurement and delivery processes.
Reporting Structure
Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, the Project Manager represents the highest authority at project level, responsible for delivering results, maintaining communication, and ensuring alignment across all contributing functions.
