About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking IT Manager to lead the technological strategy and operations at H-Farm School, part of the Nord Anglia Education European Region.
As IT Manager, you’ll act as a strategic business partner, driving innovation and ensuring that all systems, networks, and applications are secure, efficient, and aligned with our educational goals.
You will lead a team of IT professionals, manage a diverse portfolio of projects, and collaborate closely with school and regional leaders to advance our digital transformation agenda.
Your leadership will directly influence how technology supports teaching, learning, and operational excellence across the school community.
Key Responsibilities Strategic IT Leadership Provide strategic direction for the school’s IT function, aligning technology initiatives with educational objectives and Nord Anglia’s regional vision.
Recommend and implement technology investments that drive innovation, efficiency, and value.
Act as the school’s IT business partner, ensuring that all departments’ needs are captured, prioritised, and delivered effectively.
Budgeting and Financial Management Forecast and manage the IT budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost-effective service delivery.
Monitor IT expenditure, identifying opportunities for savings and performance improvement.
Project Management and Delivery Lead and deliver IT projects from planning to implementation, ensuring timely, high-quality outcomes.
Collaborate with stakeholders and external vendors to ensure successful project execution aligned with school goals.
Collaboration and Leadership Partner with academic and administrative teams to integrate technology that enhances teaching, learning, and operations.
Build strong relationships with the Regional and Central IT teams to ensure alignment with Nord Anglia’s global standards.
Vendor and Supplier Management Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, ensuring contract compliance, quality performance, and cost-effectiveness.
IT Operations and Support Oversee the reliability, security, and performance of all IT systems, networks, and infrastructure.
Lead the IT team in resolving incidents and minimising operational disruptions.
Ensure smooth IT support during key school processes, including student onboarding and events.
Compliance and Cybersecurity Safeguard all systems and data, ensuring compliance with local regulations, Nord Anglia policies, and best practices in cybersecurity and data protection.
Continuously monitor IT performance through KPIs and service reports to drive improvement and accountability.
About You You are a strategic, hands-on IT leader who combines strong technical expertise with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
You thrive in a collaborative, innovative school environment and are passionate about leveraging technology to enhance education.
Qualifications & Training Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in IT management.
Fluency in English (spoken and written).
Professional certifications (ITIL, PMP, Microsoft, Cisco, etc.) preferred.
Experience Proven experience managing Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and Azure AD environments.
Strong understanding of LAN/WAN infrastructure and current IT security standards .
Project management experience with a track record of successful delivery.
Experience managing IT staff and developing team performance.
Financial management skills including OPEX/CAPEX planning.
