PpRINA is currently recruiting for a bVeneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia e Trentino Alto Adige Certification Industrial Services Inspector /b to join its office in San Bonifacio or Venezia, Italy within the bMediterranean Africa Certification /b Division. /p h3Mission /h3 pThe role focuses on ensuring the safety and quality of industrial services (e.g. welding, pressure equipment, personnel certification and CE marking) helping businesses meet regulatory standards and deliver reliable, safe services to their customers. The role works under the supervision of more complex assignments. /p h3Key Accountabilities /h3 ul liConduct Inspections: Perform on-site inspections, examinations and audits to assess compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations. /li liDocumentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed inspection, examination and audit reports, documenting findings and providing clear recommendations for corrective actions or improvements. /li liMaintain accurate records of inspections, approvals, and rejections. /li liMaterial and Procedure Review: Review materials, manufacturing/process procedures and testing methods (e.g. NDT) to ensure they meet certification requirements. /li liQuality Assurance: Monitor the quality control processes during the activities, ensuring adherence to quality control plans. /li liCode Compliance: Stay up to date with industry codes, standards, and regulations to ensure that all inspections or examinations are conducted in accordance with the latest requirements. /li liQualification: Assess the qualifications and certifications of services and operators, ensuring they meet the appropriate standards. /li liSafety: Promote and enforce safety measures, ensuring that the operations are conducted in a safe and compliant manner. Evaluate the reliability of equipment and plant inspected with tests and measures to ensure compliance safety. /li liClient Interaction: Communicate with clients, answer their questions competently, and provide information about the certification scheme. /li liContinuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of inspection procedures. /li liTraining: Stay current with the latest inspection techniques and technologies and provide training to colleagues and clients as needed. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liProven experience in industrial service inspection, particularly in areas such as welding, pressure equipment, personnel certification, and CE marking. /li liKnowledge of regulatory standards and mandatory certifications relevant to industrial services (e.g. pressure vessels, piping, valves, etc.). /li liStrong understanding of quality assurance, safety regulations, and technical standards applicable to industrial services and equipment (ASME Codes, EN standards, etc). /li liAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and compliance documentation. /li liAttention to detail and the ability to assess compliance with safety regulations, codes, and standards. /li liHolding ASME Authorized Inspector qualification. /li liProficiency in using inspection tools and test equipment. /li liExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting findings and interacting with clients and team members. /li liAbility to work independently and under the supervision of senior inspectors for more complex assignments. /li liStrong problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to provide clear recommendations for compliance improvements. /li liCertifications or professional membership in relevant bodies (e.g., Welding Engineer, NDT qualifications, CE marking expert) is a plus. /li /ul h3Education /h3 pBachelor’s degree in engineering general or valid ASME Inspector qualification /p pRINA is a multinational company providing a wide range of services in the energy, marine, certification, infrastructure mobility, industry, research development sectors.
