Soilmec SpA – Cesena Headquarters is looking for:
Production Manager
The selected candidate will lead and optimize production operations to ensure maximum efficiency, quality, and safety, while fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Responsibilities
* Plan, coordinate, and supervise all production activities to ensure timely delivery and compliance with quality standards
* Manage and develop the production team, providing ongoing training and support (skills management – skill matrix)
* Monitor and analyze performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions (creation of functional KPIs)
* Collaborate with other departments (e.g., maintenance, quality, logistics) to ensure smooth workflow and resolve operational issues
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
* Manage the production budget and control operating costs
* Implement and maintain lean manufacturing practices to improve efficiency and reduce waste (lead time reduction)
Requirements
* Degree in Engineering or a related field
* In-depth knowledge of production processes and continuous improvement techniques (Lean Manufacturing)
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Knowledge of workplace safety regulations
* Strong commitment to quality
