We are currently seeking a local HR expert in Italy to handle complex people-related matters throughout the employee lifecycle. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining client employee relationships, handling employee onboarding, transfers, relocations, and offboarding, as well as verifying payroll calculations and providing daily consulting and client relationship support.
Key Responsibilities
1. Act as our in-house HR expert for Italy and Europe, driving employee lifecycle management and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
2. Own and drive employee lifecycle management: onboarding, transfers, relocations, and offboarding, ensuring accuracy and compliance in payroll calculations.
3. Provide daily HR consulting to clients, maintain client relationships, and resolve cross-border employment issues.
4. Admin support: generation of reports, employment verification letters, and HRIS administration.
Requirements
* International HR professional experience in a high-volume and fast-paced environment.
* Familiarity with European labor laws, particularly in Italy and surrounding countries.
* Fluency in English; additional European languages (e.g., German, French) are a plus.
* Data-driven: challenge the status quo and strive to improve response times and employee experience.
* Enjoy working with people, possess a strong service mindset, and thrive on listening to and helping others solve problems.
Interview Process
* Preliminary Screening: HR communication.
* First-round Interview: Video interview with the department head to assess suitability.
