P2025 sees MoneyGram Haas F1 Team celebrate its tenth season in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship… we’re just getting started. We don’t follow the status quo, we’re here to challenge the competition, and we want you to join us.brThe first American Formula 1 team to compete in the sport since 1986, MoneyGram Haas F1 Team made an immediate impression with a memorable points-scoring debut at the 2016 Australian Grand Prix. Nine years later, and the team continues to demonstrate growth and a clear direction with its future objectives – coming off the back of its second-best season to-date in Formula 1.brWe’re a racing team – not a corporate machine. We have three HQs – Kannapolis in the US, Banbury in the UK and Maranello in Italy – each powered by passionate, loyal and hardworking team ambassadors. At MoneyGram Haas F1 Team – known within the paddock as the ‘family team’ – you’ll be involved in many different areas of the team, have much wider visibility across the business, and will be able to clearly see your contribution to our team.brYes, you’ll learn from us, but we expect to learn from you too!brstrongGeneral Summarybr/strongThis position reports to the Procurement Director or their designee; is located in Maranello, Italy. Responsible for car parts procurement, with close working with Project Management Office. Also responsible for supporting the requirements of the Design Office with regard to bought out services. Proactively ensures best practices are adopted and always followed. Ensures the timely delivery of quality parts and services within budget.brstrongKey Responsibilitiesbr/strongulliPromote teamwork and effective communications to develop working relationships between all personnel and departments. /liliFollow procurement guidelines, policies and procedures, continually challenging cost, quality and lead time. /liliSupport the Procurement Director and their designee in ensuring individual tasks are completed in line with programme requirements. /liliBe able to compile agreements with external partners ready for internal submission and review within Haas F1 and ensure subsequent adherence to these agreements by both parties. /liliResponsible for supporting the project management of vendor supplied projects that may require cross-functional collaboration. /liliExperience to foresee potential quality and delivery risks, with the knowledge to implement corrective actions. /liliPossess the relevant engineering skills to be able to determine appropriate supplier selection, be able to competently understand the manufacturing process(es) and negotiate costs. /liliConfidence to feedback to engineering any changes which could reduce the cost and/or improve the quality of supply without negatively effecting the engineering function of the part. /liliSkills to audit a vendor’s capability, capacity and sustainability and the mindset to look outside the existing motorsport community for the best solution. /liliAbility to offer multiple supply options and select the optimum solution per situation. /liliDevelop and maintain relationships with parts vendors to obtain and purchase parts. /liliResponsible for invoice queries and liaising with the finance department to ensure resolution. /liliParticipate in the development of specifications for equipment and products. /liliAbility to support Indirect procurement activities, as required. /liliFollow all safety regulations in all venues. /liliOther duties as assigned by the Procurement Director or their designee.br/li /ulstrongEducation And Work Experiencebr/strongulliHigh School diploma or equivalent required. Further education including a relevant Apprenticeship or University Degree desired. /lili3 or more years of technical procurement experience including bought out to drawing parts. /liliExperience of working in a dynamic and fast paced environment, with the ability to delivery to time critical deadlines.br/li /ulstrongSpecialized Knowledge And Skillsbr/strongulliStrong communication skills, written and verbal. /liliFluent Italian speaker with an excellent understanding of English language. /liliStrong technical background in either engineering or manufacturing environments. /liliAbility to translate requirements from the Design Office to the Supplier for a range of commodities including composite and machined parts. /liliWork to a consistently high standard in dynamic and time sensitive situations. /liliQuick decision-making skills whilst working through problems in a scientific and analytical way. /liliWork well within a team environment with personnel at all levels. /liliA sympathetic approach to work colleagues and an ability to integrate within a group environment. /liliA can-do positive approach and a willingness to help others is essential.br/li /ulstrongEquipment And Applicationsbr/strongulliMicrosoft Office 365 suite of office products, particularly Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and Power BI /liliExperience on industry standard ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics 365). /liliAbility to navigate PLM systems (e.g. Dassault Systems 3DX).br/li /ulstrongWork Environment Physical Demandsbr/strongAn ability to work and prioritize within a high pressure, time sensitive environment while retaining a methodical approach is essential. The role may require occasional domestic, international travel and a willingness to work long and flexible hours including weekends.brThis position may require lifting to 50 pounds, repeated bending, squatting and manual dexterity. Fast-paced work environment requiring heavy mental demands. Work environment includes machinery, race cars, 7-post and other rigs, grinding debris, and hazardous fluids.
