Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the company procures high‑quality products for competitive prices within designated timelines. Additionally you will play a pivotal role in maintaining adherence to budgets and driving profitability through strategic procurement practices. Collaboration will be key as you will work closely with various departments including Technical Sales, Finance, Program Management, Production and Quality to streamline processes and optimise procurement strategies. /p h3Key Responsibilities Tasks /h3 ul liOrganize the procurement plan, execute requisitions and purchase orders for direct materials and services, including spacecraft sub‑systems, testing services, machined parts, composites, electronic boards and components. /li liLiaise with key company employees to determine their product and service needs. /li liMonitor business trends and product availability to pay the best price for company goods and services without sacrificing quality or delivery times. /li liNurture relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for the company. /li liIdentify and research potential new suppliers and products. /li liSupport make‑or‑buy analyses. /li liParticipate in the coordination of engineering changes, product line extensions or new product launches to ensure orderly and timely transitions in material or production flow. /li liPerform risk assessments on the company’s supply chain. /li liWork with the legal department to ensure favourable contracts and terms. /li liMaintain relevant business partner and purchasing data inside the ERP system. /li liReport to the Head of Procurement. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liStrong interpersonal and networking skills. /li liExcellent written and oral communication skills. /li liData analysis abilities. /li liSuperior organisational skills. /li liStrong negotiation skills and good business instinct. /li liUnderstanding of supply‑chain management procedures. /li liKnowledge of ERP systems. /li liProactive attitude and ability to work in a team and individually. /li li5 years of previous experience within procurement in aerospace electronics or similar. /li liBachelor or higher engineering degree in any relevant area such as aerospace engineering, electronic engineering or automation. /li liFluency in Italian and English. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience in procuring sub‑systems or parts for space applications. /li /ul h3Hiring Process /h3 pHere’s how our hiring process works—simple and straightforward: /p ul liApplication review: We go through all applications, but only reach out to candidates who closely match what we’re looking for. /li liFirst chat: Selected candidates will have an initial meeting with the people team so we can get to know each other and talk through mutual expectations, motivation for change and goals. /li liTechnical interviews: Next you’ll have one or two technical interviews focused on your skills and how you approach challenges relevant to the role. /li liOffer: If all goes well, we send you an offer!
