Lead Enterprise Architect
is responsible for defining and governing the overall FDP architecture strategy, ensuring alignment between business goals, digital transformation initiatives, and technology capabilities. This role leads a team of domain and solution architects, sets architectural standards and principles, and collaborates closely with senior business and IT stakeholders to ensure scalable, secure, and future-proof technology solutions.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Define and maintain FDP architecture vision, principles, and roadmap aligned withbusiness strategy
Lead and coordinate architecture governance processes, including architectureboards and compliance reviews
Supervise domain, solution, and technical architects, providing guidance and promoting best practices across teams
Ensure consistency across platforms, applications, data, infrastructure, and security architecture
Support strategic initiatives by evaluating emerging technologies, conducting impact assessments, and driving innovation
Collaborate with business leaders, product owners, and IT leadership to align architecture with transformation goals
Define architecture KPIs and report on adherence, maturity, and effectiveness
Build and maintain architectural documentation and reusable assets (reference architecture, standards, guidelines for SDLC etc.)
Responsible for system Architectures encompassing all Nextech group initiatives
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
8+ years of experience in enterprise architecture or senior technical leadership roles
Strong understanding of architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, SAFe forArchitects)
Experience in Scaled Agile Frameworks (SAFe) or similar methodologies, with astrong grasp of how architecture integrates with the SDLC. xlwpduy
Proven experience in large-scale digital transformation and cloud-native architecture focused on IoT and big data (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Deep understanding of Kubernetes, containerized workloads, and infrastructure-as-code principles.
Solid background in application, data, integration, infrastructure architecture, of microservices design patterns and scalable service composition
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Strategic mindset with ability to balance innovation, risk, and long-term vision
Fluent in English and Italian
NICE-TO-HAVES
Certification in TOGAF, SAFe for Architects, or equivalent
Experience in highly regulated environments (e.g.insurance, maritime, or public sector)
Experience in establishing and running an Architecture Center of Excellence
Experience in implementing AI-driven solutions within enterprise architecture
