Social network you want to login/join with: As part of the tax department, the candidate will provide assistance under the responsibility and control of the tax manager across a wide range of activities related to direct and indirect tax matters, as well as managing certain administrative activities related to financial companies, with a specific focus on: Direct and indirect tax compliance Withholding agent obligations Transfer pricing documentation Analysis of accounting data relevant for tax purposes Updating tax news and deadlines Business requests related to IFTT, FATCA, DAC 6 Key Responsibilities The tax specialist: Prepares and files tax fulfillments (VAT, IRES, IRAP, Stamp Duty, tax returns, and related supporting documents) Works with the accounting team to analyze relevant tax items Checks and reconciles VAT data and related registers Checks and reconciles data related to tax on financial transactions (IFTT) Prepares FATCA and self-declaration forms Prepares quarterly tax calculations Fills in the tax report for head office Monitors tax law developments and updates other departments Provides tax support to business lines, back office, and finance department Collaborates with external advisors in the preparation of transfer pricing documentation Collaborates with external advisors in the analysis of DAC 6 files Supports during tax audits and litigation phases REQUIREMENTS : University degree in Economics or related field 3-5 years of experience in a leading international firm or financial company Proficiency in written and spoken English Knowledge of management applications, MS Office, and software for filing and communicating tax returns J-18808-Ljbffr
