Product Engineer Job Description
Our company is seeking a Product Engineer to join our R&D; department. This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining the complete 3D and 2D design of helmet components, ensuring technical quality, manufacturability, and alignment with product vision.
You will create and maintain 3D models and 2D technical drawings for all helmet components (outer shell, EPS, liner, vent systems, accessories, visors). Your work will involve cross-functional collaboration with Design, Project Management, and Prototyping teams for continuous iteration and alignment.
- Develop and maintain complex designs using CATIA V5/V6 software.
- Create detailed specifications for production processes (injection moulding thermoforming lamination).
- Analyse functional requirements to ensure each component meets product standards.
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design required. At least two years' experience in CAD design is necessary as well as extensive knowledge of CATIA V5/V6. Additionally mechanical kinematics materials handling skills are essential along with familiarity of common manufacturing methods such as injection moulding thermoplastic processing etc.
Fluency in English language is expected though proficiency Italian would also be advantageous.
