Our Property, Casualty, Technical & Special Risks team is a highly esteemed provider of adjusting and technical services. Our team comprises of chartered loss adjusters, engineers, surveyors, insurance practitioners, arbitrators, mediators, lawyers, registered expert witnesses, and chartered accountants. Leveraging a global, multi-disciplinary approach to major losses, we deliver solutions for complex, high-value cases with a positive and proactive mindset, regardless of size.
The Role
The role will be performed by a motivated and detail-oriented individual and will provide administrative support related to claims management. It is an ideal opportunity for a young professional with strong organizational skills and an interest in the insurance sector, eager to develop their professional competencies in an international environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist the team with daily operations and administration, including: Data entry and document updates. Sorting emails and responding to email queries. Supporting our offices in Romania (claim opening, issuing of invoices in CMA), Germany (registering of disbursements), Sweden and Turkey. Overseeing the Milan office switchboard. Communicating with clients, external collaborators, and internal colleagues.
2. Provide administrative support relating to claims management, including: Downloading new claims and entering updates from client portals. Entering new clients and setting up cases on CMA in relation to specialty and mass claims. Logging and documenting the information in the required folder and master file. Updating CMA data in relation to budget, time posted modifications, claim numbers, and client changes. Entering coinsurance data on CMA and request claim numbers from co-insurers. Registering of disbursements in CMA. Sanction screenings for insured parties, third parties, and new clients.
3. Liaise with adjusters on a weekly basis to ensure that WIP data is obtained and entered onto CMA, and to follow up on time that is registered in draft.
4. Support with the creation of the Quarterly Connect newsletter.
5. Carry out ad hoc duties and tasks that are allocated to you at the discretion of management and that are within your capabilities and within the scope of your post.

Required Skills
7. High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree (preferably in administration, economics, languages, or related fields).
8. Age and requirements compatible with apprenticeship regulations (as per current legislation).
9. Interest in the insurance industry or business management.
10. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook.
11. Good command of English (minimum B1-B2 level).
12. Ability to manage files and data with accuracy and attention to detail.
13. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities.
14. Reliability and a sense of responsibility.
15. Effective written and verbal communication.
16. Collaborative attitude and team-oriented mindset.
17. Willingness to learn and take initiative in a dynamic environment.
