Business Development Role at Avanade
The Business Development professional is responsible for contributing to the origination, solutioning, qualification, negotiation, and closing of deals across all Avanade products, capabilities, services, and solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Engaging with clients to clarify needs and translate them into potential solutions.
2. Creating proposals to support key opportunities in client accounts, territories, and sectors.
3. Engaging buyers through channels such as digital content, social media, campaigns, and email.
4. Collaborating with Business Development professionals, partners, and alliances to grow the business.
5. Building and maintaining long-term relationships with decision-makers and buyers within client organizations.
6. Applying sales processes like DEEPR, Solution Selling, and Account Management.
7. Supporting local marketing programs for brand development and market demand generation.
Qualifications include:
1. At least 5 years of sales experience, especially within the Microsoft ecosystem.
2. Understanding client business needs and recommending suitable technology solutions.
3. Industry knowledge in Manufacturing, Consumer Goods, and Retail sectors.
4. Strong client interface and presentation skills.
5. Creative thinking to address business needs.
6. Working knowledge of account planning, sales pipeline management, and sales quotas.
7. Good understanding of Microsoft products, especially D365.
8. Ability to build a network of contacts to increase influence.
