Sales Administrator (Italian, English & French speaking)

A subsidiary of a multi-functional trading house in Milan is currently looking for a Sales Administrator for the Chemicals Department.
In this role you will be responsible for executing and controlling import & export business for company products.
The Sales Administrator is responsible for the order handling process within the team, from order receipt to control of payment including arrangement of all kinds of logistics within Europe and Overseas.

Monday to Friday, 40 hours, Flex-Time system and Lavoro da remoto up to 50% of month

LOCATION:
Milan, Italy (Currently 50% in office, 50% work from home.)
Responsibilities
Executing order processing for Import & Export business including timely issuing of all relevant documents with the help of the merchandize management system
On time supervision of Import & Export business incl.
logistics and warehousing
Co-ordination of logistics in cooperation with forwarding company to arrange timely delivery from suppliers and to customers including handling/checking of relevant logistic invoices
Issuing invoices, applications for internal credit limit and external credit insurance, control of payment receipt including dunning process
Provision of sales figures for sales staff and manager
General customer and supplier service
Sales support to sales team and section manager
Ideal Candidate / Qualifications
Ideally 2 years+ of experience in import/export administration, incl.
co-ordination of deliveries, ideally also in non-European countries
Fluent Italian and English language (verbal & written)
Good knowledge of French and Spanish language (verbal and written)
Initial experiences in the chemicals industry, and is familiar with dry and liquid bulk chemical shipments would be advantageous
Good knowledge of merchandize management system (Axapta or SAP or similar)
Experience in order processing
Experience in logistics
Qualified in order processing and import/export by a relevant apprenticeship (ex: foreign trade or forwarding merchant) would be advantageous
Work effectively with other team members, willing to share knowledge and skills
Ability to assess, prioritise and manage own workload
Ability to work to strict deadlines
Good Microsoft Excel & Word skill and some SAP experience
