Company description
Iper La Grande I is an Italian company operating in the retail sector (GDO), with more than 20 hypermarkets nationwide. We are looking for an experienced store manager to lead our fruit & vegetable department.
Position
Store Manager – Fruit & Vegetable Department (Tempo pieno)
Responsibilities
- Supply and restock shelves and fridge benches with fresh fruit and vegetables.
- Check expiration dates and rotate products.
- Maintain order and cleanliness of the department.
- Assist customers in finding products and choosing seasonal fruit & vegetables.
- Answer customer questions about department products.
- Report any anomalies or problems to the manager.
- Know the variety of fruit & vegetables and their characteristics.
- Advise customers on choosing fresh seasonal products.
- Handle public contact and stressful situations.
- Manage and be responsible for departmental goods.
- Organize work within the department.
- Handle orders.
- Lead the department team (~10 people), organizing work and supervising.
- Plan team schedules.
Qualifications
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
- Comfortable with public contact.
- Manual dexterity and precision.
- Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately.
- Customer-oriented and problem-solving focus.
- Availability for flexible shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.
- Previous experience in responsible roles within GDO/MDO.
