MICROSOFT SYSTEM ENGINEER
Sorint.Lab S.P.A. is seeking a Microsoft System Engineer to join our team and serve our customers in Milano, with a hybrid work model.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft technologies. Your responsibilities will include designing, deploying, and supporting our Microsoft infrastructure. You will play a key role in maintaining the availability, performance, and security of our IT infrastructure.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Design, deploy, and support Microsoft infrastructure;
* Scripting and automation using PowerShell for orchestration tasks;
* Administration, optimization, and design of Hyper-V, Failover Clustering, and SCVMM infrastructures;
* Perform detailed analysis of virtualized environments;
* Support and troubleshoot issues with Windows servers and Active Directory environments;
* Leverage SCCM for system administration, reporting, and automation;
* Collaborate on improving system architecture and deployment processes;
* Act as a technical point of contact for stakeholders and application owners;
* Knowledge of VMware infrastructure is a plus;
* Continuously update and improve our system architecture.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* 5+ years of experience in IT, focusing on Microsoft technologies;
* Proven expertise in:
o Hyper-V, Failover Clustering, System Center VMM;
o Advanced PowerShell scripting;
o Administration of Hyper-V, Failover Clusters, and SCVMM;
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft core services: AD DS, AD CS, AD FS, DNS, DHCP, IIS;
* Good understanding of Windows Server environments;
* Familiarity with VMware administration is highly desirable;
* Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery tools;
* Deep understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing);
* Solid understanding of enterprise storage concepts, including LUNs, MPIO, SAN, and performance tuning;
* Strong problem-solving skills;
* Effective communication and documentation skills;
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment;
* Experience in enterprise environments.
