This role ensures cost-effective sourcing, supplier performance, and strategic alignment with global procurement goals. The specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive value, mitigate risks, and support operational excellence. /p h3bYour Responsibilities will be: /b /h3 pbCommodity Strategy Development: /bbr/Develop and implement regional commodity strategies aligned with global objectives, market trends, and business needs. /p pbSupplier Management: /bbr/Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost competitiveness. Conduct regular supplier performance reviews. /p pbCost Optimization: /bbr/Lead cost reduction initiatives through negotiation, value engineering, and alternative sourcing strategies. /p pbMarket Intelligence: /bbr/Monitor market dynamics, pricing trends, and supply risks for assigned commodities. Provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders. /p pbContract Negotiation: /bbr/Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. /p pbCross-functional Collaboration: /bbr/Work closely with engineering, quality, logistics, and finance teams to support product development, production, and continuous improvement. /p pbRisk Management: /bbr/Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including geopolitical, environmental, and economic factors. /p pbReporting Analytics: /bbr/Maintain accurate records of commodity performance, savings, and supplier metrics.
