Job Description The Maintenance & Automation Technician is a subject‑matter expert in process automation with strong hands‑on electrical and mechanical maintenance capabilities. This role combines deep technical expertise with operational autonomy to manage complex maintenance activities and ensure the reliability and safety of production assets. The position is responsible for defining and improving preventive and corrective maintenance programs to guarantee business continuity. Key Responsibilities
Provide advanced technical support to the Cadorago Distribution Center, focusing on the performance of slitting lines and automated packaging systems. Diagnose complex technical issues and develop/execute effective corrective and preventive actions. Lead automation optimization and control system modifications across manufacturing equipment and infrastructure. Manage business‑critical suppliers and network with internal technical experts to share best practices. Participate in local maintenance strategy, including budget input and subcontractor management.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in the paper, slitter/rewinder, or adhesive tape industries. Proven ability to independently troubleshoot and repair complex electromechanical systems on highly automated machinery. Solid understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics. Practical experience with automation networks (hardware and software). Deep knowledge of Rockwell and Siemens technology will be considered a strong plus.
Skills for Success
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions. Ability to analyze technical schemes and PLC software for troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis.
