Responsibilities You will manage, develop and coach the Motion Large Motors sales support team in Italy, enabling the sales organization to find optimal solutions for customers. You will create and review local sales strategies, set key targets, and drive the share‐of‐wallet growth, profitability and customer satisfaction for select accounts. You will coordinate sales activities, monitor projects and manage resolution of specific customer problems while providing input on market price developments and trends. Oversee creation of estimates, bids and proposals in line with ABB procedures and legal requirements. Ensure offers consider market situation and customer conditions. Assign resources for technical and commercial assistance and prepare proposals to maintain excellent service for customers. Assist sales organization during customer meetings, product presentation and negotiations. Translate key business drivers, including sustainability, digital and efficiency risks, into impacts and opportunities for ABB. Monitor customers' needs and competitors' offerings through market intelligence and insight from sales teams. Guide, motivate, coach and develop the skills and knowledge of the sales support team. Qualifications 5 years of experience in B2B engineered product sales and offer generation, preferably in Electrical Large Motors and Generators. Proficiency in offer configuration tools and CRM systems such as Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite. Management experience in sales and/or sales support with a proven ability to anticipate customer needs and market trends. Advanced communication, influencing, coaching and management skills. Solid understanding of commercial and technical dynamics related to customized products. Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification. Excellent communication skills in Italian and English.
