FPGA/SoC Engineer – Defense Sector:
TXT e-Tech, part of the TXT Group, is looking for an FPGA/SoC Engineer to join complex projects in the defense sector.
The selected candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team and will work closely with the customer on the development, integration, and validation of embedded systems.
Main Responsibilities
Design, development, and integration of FPGA/SoC solutions.
Validation and verification (V&V) activities, including testbench creation and management.
Collaboration with HW/SW engineering teams on integration and testing tasks.
Preparation and management of technical documentation in compliance with industry standards.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
At least 2 years of experience in FPGA/SoC development (preferably Xilinx/AMD, Microchip, or equivalent).
Strong knowledge of VHDL/Verilog and tools for synthesis and place & route.
Experience with simulators such as Aldec, Questa, ModelSim, etc.
Solid knowledge of V&V processes and testbench writing.
Good programming skills in C.
Knowledge of at least one of the following environments: Vitis/Vivado, Quartus II, LiberoSoC IDE.
Teamwork skills and ability to manage technical documentation.
Proficiency in Italian and English.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of embedded Linux and SoC development tools.
Experience in HW/SW simulation, testing, and validation.
Familiarity with high-performance communication protocols (Ethernet, PCIe, SpaceWire, CAN, etc.).
Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, spectrum analyzers, etc.).
Basic knowledge of industry standards and regulations (DO-178, DO-254, MIL-STD).
Previous experience in aerospace/defense or mission/safety-critical systems.
