The Technical Support department is responsible for the entire Product Process and of the Production lines present in the Vestas Blades Italia production plant. Responsibilities
Plan and lead activities necessary to obtain desired levels of efficiency and timeline adherence in the factory. Translate production basis to local language.
Set up production processes according to the production strategy of Vestas Blades.
Collaborate with Maintenance technicians on equipment maintenance in the production area to meet operational requirements and company values and image.
Prepare and maintain necessary production documentation for correct manufacture of products.
Provide technical support and training to production teams as required, related to production processes, documentation, and setup of production lines.
Take responsibility for issues related to production process performance.
Identify key potentials and implement action plans through reporting systems to improve production quality.
Improve existing production processes to support continuous improvement on production lines and enhance robustness.
Cooperate with the Production Quality Department, supporting cross-plant system issues that affect overall compliance.
Collaborate with MAN-Blades, PE team, and Technology team to secure knowledge and understanding of production strategy.
Interface with Manufacturing Tools & Equipment department to ensure knowledge of production strategy.
Provide timely support to all shifts defined by project needs, production schedule, and production process issues.
Handle change control of process areas and procedures in the factory, including routings, item warehouse, and item process.
Assist with additional projects and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Master's degree (5-year program) in Engineering with a focus on manufacturing, mechanical, or materials engineering related to blade production
Medium to high English level
Competencies
Ability to remain focused and professional under time-sensitive and high-pressure conditions
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
Solid understanding of quality processes, methodologies, and reporting practices
Problem-solving and analytical skills
Communication and teamwork abilities
