Reporting to CE Client Director, the CE DC Director will oversee strategic growth, commercial strategy and delivery model for DC major Data Center projects across the Region.Position LocationThe role may be based in any of our major CE region locations: Denmark, Poland, Germany, Netherlands, France, Switzerland, Italy or Spain.Your New Role, What's Involved?GrowthAnalyze market conditions, competition, and emerging opportunities to create actionable growth strategies.Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration to drive growth initiatives forward including new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams to increase company profitability.Work closely with country market leaders to create go‐to‐market strategies.Continuously monitor the competitive landscape, customer behaviours, and industry trends, while using data analytics to inform decisions and adjust strategies based on performance metrics.Providing thought leadership input into WSP CE Excom to support CE WSP's strategic plan and direction.Actively represent Data Center clients within the CE Regional Client Program.CommercialPartner with legal and financial teams to safeguard commercial agreements and activities, ensuring robust legal and financial protection.Innovate and maintain standard Terms and Conditions for commercial agreements and other legal documents, ensuring the company retains a competitive edge.Regular collaboration with the countries' operations teams to fine‐tune the commercial sensitivity of each proposal in response to the current operational status.Implement and monitor the internal procedures to run an operation fully compliant with the WSP DoA.Collaborate with the Managing Directors and Business Line Heads to set and achieve strategic goals for commercial operations, managing key metrics like Sales, Hard Backlog, Soft Backlog, Net Revenue, Operating Margins, etc.Enhance commercial rigor in pricing and budgeting for major projects by collaborating with country Business Line Heads, while leading the preparation and review of commercial submissions for proposals, ensuring timely and coordinated input from stakeholders.Analyze the performance of the project portfolio, develop strategies for support and intervention, report findings to leadership, and assist the business in positioning for and securing major strategic bids.Lead risk management strategies, engaging directly with clients and ensuring comprehensive handover briefings to inform project teams.DeliveryPartner and regularly collaborate with the country operations and GCC to define the optimal delivery model for each major project prioritizing regional interest.Enhance technical rigor by working with country Business Line Heads and leading quality assurance of major project submissions.Business Intelligence and ReportingOwns and manages data performance related to commercial activities, utilizing key metrics such as Sales, Hard Backlog, Soft Backlog, Net Revenue, Operating Margins, etc. to inform strategic decisions.Demonstrates the ability to analyze current data for the CE Excom and synthesize data for comprehensive global analysis.Experienced in CRM management and client database handling, with familiarity in relevant tools.Lead the Data Centers CE pipeline track.Report the operations KPI's and pipeline to the Regional Client team.What If It Was You?Architect or engineering degree. An MBA or other advanced business degree would be highly valued.English (C1 level).
