To expand the Data Center Business Unit, we are seeking a Projects Director who will report to the Technical Director.
The Projects Director will be responsible for the delivery of entrusted projects from pre-design to construction, ensuring profitability in line with contractual agreements and company objectives.
The ideal candidate is a team leader with a key role in maintaining customer relationships and managing a team of (Senior) Project Managers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACTIVITIES :Provides technical support to business development teams during prospecting activities.Meets clients with the business development team to understand their needs and project specifics.Proposes technical and cost-effective solutions tailored to client needs.Prepares and optimizes building designs and technical solutions.Estimates design costs and prepares preliminary schedules.Prepares necessary documents for feasibility studies, including bills of quantities (M&E).Defines the offer, manages finalization, and briefs the business development and Design & Estimating teams.Acts as the primary contact for clients and the company's representative during projects.Contract :Participates in contract approval with business development, coordinating with legal and finance departments.As the contract's director, approves all contractual details.Prepares technical and administrative documents (bonds, insurance certificates, etc.
).Construction :Builds and leads the project team, ensuring team members have necessary skills.Oversees the project team, including design office, technical inspectors, subcontractors, and safety coordinators.Ensures project realization aligns with contractual agreements.Monitors work progress and manages schedule adjustments.Produces technical summaries of building trades interventions.Cost and Schedule Management :Conducts financial analysis to ensure margins meet objectives.Participates in contract committees with management.Sets project cost and sales prices in collaboration with the business development team.Signs sales contracts with relevant representatives.Team Management :Manages all or part of the project team in coordination with the Country Manager or Technical Director.QUALIFICATIONSMaster's degree in civil engineering, urbanism, or similar.5 to 10 years of experience in construction, particularly on private markets (TKP or EPCM contracts).Languages spoken :Specify languages required.
