Sodexo Italia, multinational leader in Food & Facility Management services, is looking for a
Business Controller
that will be based in our Headquarters in Milano (MI) and will report to the Project Manager of a significant business activity.
This position will contribute to the relevant financial performance planning and reporting activities, including the production of periodic financial reports for the Group and internal Management.
Main activities:
* Performing periodic closings (monthly, quarterly, yearly), collecting, analysing, and consolidating financial data.
* Preparing budgets and forecast, performing variance analysis.
* Providing status of business performance, coordinating with the Operations and other transversal function teams across the entire organisation.
* Preparing ad-hoc analysis and special reports designed to accompany the delivery of strategic initiatives.
* Applying integrity and confidentiality to the preparation and disclosure of all financial information.
* Support the implementation and migration to the new S/4 Hana ERP system
Requirements:
We are seeking highly motivated candidates with at least 1–2 years of prior experience in Accounting/Controlling in structured companies (preferably within the service sector) or in the consulting sector.
The required qualifications also include:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields
* Professional-level knowledge of Excel (basic formulas, pivot tables, macros) and PowerPoint
* Good familiarity with SAP or other ERP system
* Fluent English, written and spoken
* Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures (Italian GAAP and IFRS)
* Proactivity, team working skills and enthusiasm
