Location: Rome, ItalyType: Freelance – High SeasonReports to: Rome Operations Manager About the RoleAs a Radio Runner, you are the backbone of our tour logistics at the Colosseum. You'll be responsible for preparing, delivering, and managing the radio equipment used by our tour groups. This behind-the-scenes role keeps everything running smoothly, from the office to the meeting point and back, multiple times a day.Key Responsibilities
Prepare and organize radio equipment at the office before each shift, ensuring all units are charged, functional, and accounted forTransport radios to the Colosseum meeting point by bike, delivering them on time for each scheduled tourDistribute radios to the guests and guides for each groupCollect, inspect, and return radios to the office after each tourResolve any technical issues with equipment on the spot (swap faulty units, handle connectivity, etc)Maintain an accurate inventory count throughout the day and report any damaged or missing unitsKeep equipment clean, organized, and in good working conditionCoordinate timing with the Check-In Host and guides to ensure seamless handoffs Availability & ScheduleThis is a freelance position: candidates must have open availability throughout the weekMinimum commitment of 2 weekends per month requiredShifts rotate between morning and afternoon. Flexibility across both is essentialHoliday availability is expected RequirementsLanguages: Fluent English and Spanish required; Italian is a strong plusCandidates must have their own bike, as the role requires commuting between the office and meeting point multiple times per day.Highly organized with strong attention to detail.Extremely punctual and reliable.
