Summary
Join our dynamic Customer Support and Remote Consulting (CSRC) team as a Senior Remote Consultant! In this exciting role, you will be supporting our customers, internal staff, and partners, guiding them through their implementations and ensuring a seamless post-implementation experience. You'll play a crucial part in empowering OneStream customers, partners, and internal teams by providing exceptional support and enablement.
Your key responsibilities will include supporting and enhancing the OneStream administrator post go-live, delivering custom solution-based support, and offering expert consulting to both partners and internal teams. You will also be mentoring new peers, leading projects and being a role model to the rest of the consultants. We're looking for someone who can think on their feet, make quick, sound decisions, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Preference is for candidates who have
1. 2+ years experience of OneStream Consulting/Implementations,
2. proficiency in either VB.Net or C#
3. Capable of creating OneStream Business Rules from scratch.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
4. Lead Application Reviews or Strategic Technical Projects.
5. Provide the customer with post project go live support and consulting, tasks might include but are not limited to:
6. Troubleshooting data discrepancies and analysis of consolidated data, customer issues, member formulas and business rules.
7. Building reports, security models, custom dashboards, and custom event processes
8. Assist during customer transition
9. Building Integrations
10. Gathering of business requirements as necessary regarding application support requests.
11. Lead and empower application focused team members to apply knowledge of OneStream product and features to support the customer’s business.
12. Review and approve Knowledge Base documentation, to further develop best practices.
13. Focus on business level initiatives, engaging with customers and partners to drive application-focused success.
14. Submit reports of product issues on behalf of the customer and/or partner via defined processes.
15. Support testing of software enhancements and new functionality.
16. Assist in User Application Testing (UAT) of future OneStream software releases and custom CSRC Solutions
17. Tracking tasks accomplished, time spent, and milestones completed using defined tools.
18. Effectively communicate throughout the lifecycle of an open case/issue with customer or partner.
19. Help build and test content for Trainings (lunch and learns, internal trainings, etc.), events and conferences.
Required Education and Experience
20. Degree in a field such as (but not limited to) Accounting, Business, Finance, Information Systems, Mathematics, CIS, or equivalent work experience
21. 2+ years of relevant experience (i.e. CPM, software implementations, development, financial/accounting systems)
22. Minimum 24 months of OneStream Consulting experience
Preferred Education and Experience
23. Master’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance or Information Technology
24. A professional accounting designation (e.g. CPA, CMA, CGA, CA), advanced degrees (MBA, MFA), and/or other professional designations or certifications (applicable to accounting/finance and information technology)
25. Experience with VB.net or Visual Basic. Any object-oriented programming a plus.
26. OneStream Certified Associate
27. Experience with Corporate/Enterprise performance management (CPM/EPM) software products including, but not limited to: OneStream SAP BPC (Outlooksoft), SAP BOFC (Cartesis) HFM (Hyperion Financial Management), FDM (Financial Data Quality Management), Upstream, Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Essbase IBM Cognos Anaplan Other CPM/EPM solutions CPM/EPM integrations

31. Financial Skills (high-level understanding of financial concepts, intercompany eliminations, General Ledgers, debits, credits, etc.)
32. Ability to troubleshoot without supervision
33. Ability to manage project deliverables and complete multiple tasks on time with specific requirements
34. Ability to effectively operate independently or in a team environment
35. Outstanding MS Office skills, specifically with Excel
