Position:
The position is based in Fermo (FM). Within our Product Development Shoes Team the candidate will have the opportunity to assist the team following the activities related to the product development processes from initial concept to production with reference to semi-finished products and accessories.
Job responsibilities:
1. Assist in preparing and monitoring the development of semi-finished products according to seasonal deadlines;
2. Communicate with internal teams and external suppliers under mentor supervision to ensure steps are effectively executed to track and approve development during all sample stages;
3. Work closely with the Technical Department to understand how to determine and follow up on product Bill of Materials (BOM);
4. Under mentor guidance, ensure all prototypes and sample delivery dates confirmed are monitored and input into critical path, helping highlight any potential issues that may affect sample delivery dates;
5. Support managing relationships with external suppliers;
6. Assist in creating seasonal specifications and tech packs under supervision while maintaining organization of style files and sample library;
7. Support in monitoring quality control activities as notified;
8. Support to the identification and implementation of sustainable practices within the product development process, seeking opportunities to reduce environmental impact and promote ethical sourcing.
Profile:
9. University degree;
10. Project management skills and knowledge of the product cycle and product development timelines;
11. Knowledge of the engineering and manufacturing processes for shoes product;
12. Knowledge of English;
13. Excellent skills with MS Office (Excel, Power Point);
14. Strong organization, time management skills and capability to manage competing priorities and deadlines;
15. Excellent interpersonal relationship skills;
16. Attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy and quality.
