OverviewJob Title: Engineer I, II, IIIPrimary Location: RemoteEmployment Status: Full-Time, Non-ExemptCNS, a Congruex Company, is looking for an Engineer to join our Engineering team. Will you join us?Your New JobJob SummaryResponsible for the engineering design and drafting of the most cost-effective, accurate and high quality OSP and/or ISP work/fine prints while meeting or exceeding all client deadlines. Design requirements vary by project (client/region/district/job type).Job Responsibilities (Including, But Not Limited To)Work in various customer specific systems to produce a cost-effective engineered design for construction to place, splice, install and maintain for many years to come.Identify assigned fiber/copper pairs at strategic access points and design an aerial and/or underground path from point A to point B.Identify the necessary requirements to successfully attach fiber/copper cables to poles as well as place cables in the underground environments.Engineer in the public right of way and on private property avoiding conflict with existing facilities.Initiate internal work order requests for other departments necessary to complete entire project.Update necessary tracking system(s) to ensure project and/or program status is maintained with complete accuracy, including third party management systems.Communicate all issues to management prior to reaching critical status.Develop and maintain accurate and complete files for projects, monitoring for integrity and completeness.Always meet or exceed internal and external quality standards, and on-time delivery.Other relevant duties as assigned.Required Skills & QualificationsGeneralHigh school diploma or GED equivalentDeadline driven, self-motivated, and technically savvyExcellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skillsSuperior time managementStrong attention to detailAbility to be flexible, take direction with ease, including changes to schedule and workflow prioritiesCritical thinking skills; make assessments and provide solutions to problemsAbility to maintain professional tact in a fast-paced work environment with internal personnel and clientsSuperior customer service and dedication to providing a positive experience inside and outside the organizationGRIT (guts, reliability, innovation and teamwork)TechnicalExperience working in a Windows environment; Office 365, SharePoint and MS Excel.
