Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Work location: Ferrara area
We are partnering with a fast-growing, profitable food business with an international footprint, entering an exciting new phase of expansion.
With strong momentum across multiple markets and clear ambitions for further growth, the company is now looking to appoint a CFO who will act as a true strategic partner to the CEO and play a central role in shaping the next stage of development.
This is not a "numbers-only" role.
You will operate at the heart of the business, helping to drive decision-making, challenge assumptions, and translate strategy into execution.
Key focus areas include:
Acting as a trusted advisor to the CEO on strategic and operational matters
Leading and supporting M&A activity, from evaluation through to execution and integration
Driving financial planning, performance management and cash discipline
Strengthening processes, controls and reporting within a scaling organisation
Providing insight to support commercial and operational decisions
Building and leading a high-performing finance team
We are looking for a commercially minded finance leader with roughly 12–20 years of post-university experience, combining strong technical foundations with real business acumen.
You will be comfortable in a dynamic, evolving environment, with the credibility to influence at CEO level and the ability to operate both strategically and hands-on.
