PThe Head of Marketing will own the Marketing strategy for Content Distribution (Transactional, FTA, Pay Basic, SVOD and AVOD) within the Italian territory. The key focus will be working alongside the commercial leads and Country Manager to develop and implement Marketing and Branding strategies which ensure all feature film and TV series product is being optimized both commercially and creatively across all distribution windows and formats. /ppThe role plays an important part in setting a clear strategic direction for Marketing in the territory and in supporting the Italian team in any additional key commercial priorities and new growth opportunities that will drive consumer engagement. /ppThis position based in our Milan office aims at covering at maternity leave for a 8 months’ period, starting September 2024-April 2025. The incumbent will report to the Country Manager for our TV Distribution activities in Italy. /ppbWhat you'll do : /b /pulliTo drive the Marketing strategy across Home Entertainment and TV Distribution, maximizing opportunities across the region through innovative Marketing activity. /liliKey point of contact for VP Marketing Western Europe, providing clear and consistent territory information and communication that aligns with regional strategy. /liliMaintain full PL ownership and oversee Marketing budget across all lines of business. /liliResponsible for defining the studio’s annual feature film and TV series Marketing and product release strategy for all commercial exploitations outside the theatrical window incorporating all key marketing disciplines – ATL, BTL, PR, social activation. /liliProvide leadership and direction to the Marketing Executive. /liliAct as a close business partner for all TV distribution clients in territory positioning Sony as the go to partner for close collaboration. /liliDetermine and manage the efficient timely delivery and approval of promotional assets to and from broadcast and EST partners in market. /liliWork alongside Head of Digital to share and facilitate information and assets from theatrical distribution partner Eagle Pictures in the region. /liliDevelop and execute publicity and promotional campaigns across the product slate and ensure there is close collaboration with the SPT PR team to deliver seamless broadcast campaigns for SPTs key shows within the territory. /liliDeliver any trade presentations, pre-sales events, customer events and internal showcases and events to ensure we are communicating a consistent and positive message both internally and externally. /liliHelp deliver on each territory’s One Sony activities working alongside Electronics, PlayStation and Music to maximize our combined reach as a consumer facing company /liliMaintain high levels of knowledge of technological developments to ensure all marketing activities are fully maximized. /liliContinually evaluate the need for Research, working closely with local Research Executive / Central Research team – understand how to use and interrogate data to enable the most effective pitches and partnerships with clients. /liliDrive and implement regionally supported strategies including product strategy, library focus, Digital Acceleration Project and AVOD Audience Networks. /li /ulpbWhat you have : /b /pulliTypically, 6+ years of experience in strategic Marketing preferably in the entertainment sector. /liliExperience within the Italian market place essential /liliProven track record in delivering creative, innovative and commercial marketing campaigns in a complex multi-faceted organization or environment /liliDemonstrated success in devising and executing strategic marketing objectives and cascading these objectives and ways of working /liliBusiness minded, commercially focused and able to understand business plans and control budgets /liliProven track record of successfully managing multiple projects in a dynamic / changing environment and seeing those projects through to completion /liliStrong interpersonal skills required and ability to manage multiple stakeholders /liliCreative and innovative in approach /liliAbility to influence, negotiate and persuade others /liliSelf-motivated team player and facilitator /liliFluent Italian and English is required /liliAvailability to travel within Italy and abroad as necessary /li /ulpSony Pictures Entertainment is committed to equal opportunity in all its employment practices, policies and procedures.
