How You'll Help Us Connect the World:
As a software test engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing production test software within the R&D department. You will work closely with HW and SW teams in continuous cooperation to ensure production test reliability. This role will be based in Faenza (RA), Italy.
You Will Make an Impact By:
- Developing and implementing test platforms for new products.
- Debugging RF performance in collaboration with RF team and system engineers.
- Coordinating with SW team to agree on and debug all the functionalities related to the test procedures.
- Editing script for automatic testing bench.
- Cooperating with the production line and NPI team to ensure smooth implementation and continuous improvement of the test software.
- Diagnosing and solving product yield issues.
- Ensuring that IT tools and development support test platform technical requirements of test platform, including data and product/test SW management.
- Providing global technical support when required, including possible travel to production sites or R&D locations in different countries.
- Bringing fresh ideas and initiatives to the team; opportunities may include creating projects to apply AI to existing procedures to save time and increase efficiency.
Required Qualifications for Consideration:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Software, RF Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong teamwork and cooperation skills.
- Good English proficiency (spoken and written).
- VB.NET knowledge.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
You Will Excite Us If You Have:
- Knowledge of MATLAB and/or Python.
- Interest or experience in AI.
- Knowledge of RF design and RF measurements.
- Master's Degree in Electrical, Software, RF Engineering, or related fields.
