We are seeking a Software Engineer (Digistat team) to contribute to software development, implementation, and customization. You will collaborate with management and IT teams to define technical priorities and maintain an efficient knowledge base of programming solutions to support our IT infrastructure.
Your Responsibilities include:
* Coordinating software projects and supporting customers for Ascom UMS products like Digitstat, Clingo, and Carefusion.
* Implementing and managing new support processes for software and related tech.
* Training team members, supporting onsite customer training, and developing training materials.
* Configuring and improving external customer support based on feedback and analysis.
* Handling technical support calls, including data analysis for recurring issues.
* Planning and executing customer-focused implementation activities.
* Drafting technical specifications for custom developments.
* Ensuring documentation compliance with regulations, CE marking, and quality standards.
* Acting as the main interface with customers and third parties throughout project phases.
* Collaborating on customer-driven enhancements with product and development teams.
* Monitoring product and service delivery, addressing non-compliance, complaints, or incidents.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications & Experience:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
* Experience in system integration deployments.
* Experience with medical software installation and configuration.
* Fluent in Italian and English.
* Comfortable working in an international environment.
Skills & Competencies:
* Customer-facing confidence.
* Strong skills in software installation, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
* Programming skills in VBScript or MS C# preferred.
* Proficiency with Windows OS, SQL (MSSQL), and relational databases.
* Knowledge of web technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, CSS) and web applications.
* Understanding of medical device connectivity and standards like HL7, FHIR is a plus.
