doValue seeks a talented Data Scientist to join the Portfolio team, supporting business processes and contributing to the development of new data products.
The role involves activity across Italy and the global context, collaborating with teams and stakeholders in Spain, Greece, and Cyprus to support the launch of innovative informational assets.
Responsibilities
- - Analyze internal and external datasets to identify opportunities for new features, indicators, scoring models, and monetizable analytical solutions.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering and Business teams to gather requirements, aid in drafting functional and product specifications.
- Design and implement reproducible data pipelines and analytical workflows, selecting appropriate technologies based on application context and business objectives.
- Apply advanced analytical techniques, statistics, and machine learning to develop evolving models and insights ready for market.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to assess data quality, completeness, and consistency.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of data science methodologies and innovation processes for data‑driven product development.
Technical Skills
- - Strong SQL knowledge for querying, analyzing, and transforming data in relational databases.
- Excellent proficiency in Python and main data science libraries, with practical experience in modeling, exploratory analysis, experimentation, NLP, and use of language models (LLM) in application contexts.
- Ability to write structured Python code, with modularity, dependency management, version control, and reusable components.
- Understanding of machine learning and statistics principles and best analytical practices, including model performance evaluation and validation.
- Capability to design explainable, reproducible, and industrialisable analytical solutions to be maintained, monitored, and scaled.
- Excellent Excel knowledge for exploratory analysis, data validation, and reporting.
