PpRINA is currently recruiting for a bDirettore Operativo Geologo - Civil Infrastructures /b to join its office in Genoa, Italy within the bCivil Engineering /b Division. /p h3Mission /h3 pThe Construction Supervision Geologist supports the Works Director (Direttore dei Lavori) in supervising civil infrastructure construction projects, with specific responsibility for geological, geotechnical, and environmental aspects of site activities.br/The role ensures that construction works comply with design specifications, geotechnical conditions, environmental requirements, safety regulations, and contractual obligations, particularly in complex infrastructure projects such as roads, railways, tunnels, bridges, and hydraulic works. /p h3Key Accountabilities /h3 h3Construction Supervision – Geological/Geotechnical Aspects /h3 ul liSupport the Works Director in supervising construction activities related to soil, rock, and groundwater conditions. /li liVerify compliance of works with geological, geotechnical, and environmental design specifications. /li liMonitor excavation activities, slope stability, foundations, tunnels, earthworks, and ground improvement works. /li /ul h3Site Investigations Monitoring /h3 h3Technical Documentation Reporting /h3 ul liReview geological and geotechnical reports, method statements, and technical documentation submitted by contractors. /li liPrepare site reports, inspection minutes, technical notes, and progress documentation. /li /ul h3Coordination with Contractors Stakeholders /h3 h3Variations, Claims Technical Support /h3 h3Safety Quality /h3 ul liCollaborate with safety coordinators to ensure safe execution of excavation and geotechnical works. /li liEnsure compliance with quality standards and company procedures (QMS). /li /ul h3Site Presence /h3 ul liEnsure regular site inspections and continuous technical supervision of critical construction phases. /li /ul h3Attività principali /h3 h3Supervisione Lavori – Aspetti Geologici/Geotecnici /h3 ul liSupportare il Direttore dei LavorI /li liVerificare la conformità dei lavori alle specifiche progettuali geologiche, geotecniche e ambientali. /li liMonitorare attività di scavo, stabilità dei versanti, fondazioni, gallerie, opere in terra e interventi di miglioramento dei terreni. /li /ul h3Indagini e Monitoraggi di Cantiere /h3 ul liSupervisionare indagini geologiche, investigazioni geotecniche e programmi di monitoraggio. /li liInterpretare dati di sito (sondaggi, prove di laboratorio, monitoraggi strumentali). /li liIdentificare potenziali rischi geologici e proporre misure di mitigazione. /li /ul h3Controllo Ambientale e Idrogeologico /h3 h3Documentazione Tecnica e Reporting /h3 h3Coordinamento con Imprese e Stakeholder /h3 ul liInterfacciarsi con imprese, progettisti, laboratori, specialisti ambientali ed enti pubblici. /li liSupportare la risoluzione di problematiche tecniche legate alle condizioni geologiche. /li /ul h3Varianti, Riserve e Supporto Tecnico /h3 h3Presenza in Cantiere #LI-MT3 /h3 h3Education /h3 pMaster’s Degree in Geology /p h3Qualifications /h3 ul liAt least 5 years of experience in construction supervision, geotechnical engineering, or geological consulting within infrastructure projects. /li liProven experience in civil infrastructure works. /li liStrong knowledge of geotechnical and geological investigation methods. /li liFamiliarity with Italian construction regulations, NTC standards, and public works procedures is highly desirable. /li liExperience in construction supervision or Direzione Lavori roles is a strong plus. /li liProfessional registration (Ordine dei Geologi or equivalent) preferred. /li /ul ul liAlmeno 5 anni di esperienza nella supervisione lavori, ingegneria geotecnica o consulenza geologica in progetti infrastrutturali. /li liEsperienza comprovata in opere di infrastrutture civili. /li liSolida conoscenza delle metodologie di indagine geologica e geotecnica. /li liFamiliarità con normativa italiana delle costruzioni, NTC e procedure dei lavori pubblici altamente preferibile. /li liEsperienza in attività di Direzione Lavori o supervisione cantieri costituisce titolo preferenziale. /li liIscrizione all’Ordine dei Geologi (o equivalente) preferibile. /li /ul h3Competencies /h3 ul liADDRESS THE WAY -
