Location: Remote Salary Range: Flexible Responsibilities: Provide legal guidance on employment and labor law, primarily for Italy, while also supporting global jurisdictions as needed. Draft, review, and update employment agreements, contractor arrangements, and HR policies to ensure full legal compliance. Advise on a wide range of commercial law matters, including reviewing and negotiating contracts with clients, partners, and vendors. Monitor and interpret legal and regulatory developments, particularly in employment, labor, and commercial law, and translate them into practical guidance. Support internal compliance processes, including data protection, labor law reporting obligations, and risk management. Help ensure our services align with the legal frameworks of local and international employment, mobility, and remote work standards. Requirements: Law degree and 3–5 years of experience in employment and/or commercial law, preferably in a law firm or in-house legal department. Strong working knowledge of Italian employment law (mandatory), with experience handling contracts, dismissals, benefits, and remote work compliance. Experience in commercial law, particularly in reviewing and negotiating B2B contracts and SaaS-related agreements. Familiarity with international legal environments, particularly in cross-border employment or compliance. Excellent legal drafting, negotiation, and research skills. Fluent in English and Italian (both written and spoken). A proactive, solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced startup environment.
