As a Data Center Engineering Technician, you will maintain mission-critical facilities to ensure 24/7 reliability and contribute to an extraordinary uptime. You will work with data center infrastructure including standby diesel generators, three-phase electrical systems (switch gear, UPSs, PDUs), cooling systems (CRAC, centrifugal chillers, cooling towers, water chemistry), air handlers, pumps, and motors, among other systems. /p pAWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We keep the cloud running and support data centers, servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment to ensure continual access for customers. You will join a diverse team and collaborate with engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers to uphold high safety and security standards while delivering capacity at competitive costs. /p pNote: Amazon does not sponsor immigration for this role. Lump sum relocation stipends are provided to eligible candidates. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liDaily building rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment for 24/7 reliability. /li liMonitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Management System (EPMS). /li liAssist in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events within internal SLAs. /li liPerform rack installs and decommissioning within internal SLAs. /li liPM, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment. /li liTechnical writing to support the change management program. /li liManage daily work requests to resolution and execute projects from conception to completion. /li liOn-site support of contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors ensuring work adheres to practices, procedures, and local law. /li liWork schedule changes may occur; shifts can be up to 12 hours and may rotate. Your Amazon package includes sign-on payments and RSUs. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
