Position Overview: You will design, implement, and improve site programs, activities, and initiatives aimed at preventing EHS incidents, complying with applicable regulations (D.Lgs. 81 / 08 and D.Lgs. 152 / 06), and driving site EHS performance towards World Class levels. You will also lead the introduction of Corporate Global EHS Standards within the local organization.
Responsibilities: You will ensure adherence to Corporate EHS requirements and local legal requirements by collaborating with all site functions (primarily department supervisors, maintenance, and engineering) and liaising with professional consultants locally. You will work closely with the Company Doctor to ensure the Health Surveillance Program is met as required by D.Lgs. 81 / 08 and lead the site’s Integrated EHS Management System, designed according to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 Standards, as part of the site D.Lgs. 231 Control Model. Additionally, you will lead site Risk Assessments, Safety Observations, Safety Inspections, and the Management of Change process (including equipment installation/modifications, chemical substitution, plant start-ups, and capital projects).
You will establish and review local annual EHS improvement plans, set objectives and targets on EHS matters, and develop and maintain external contacts with professional EHS consultants to stay updated on local legislation, conduct regular trainings, and ensure comprehensive risk assessments for the entire local operation.
Qualifications: A minimum of a Degree in a Technical Discipline (Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or equivalent) is required.
Professional Qualification: RSPP certification for ATECO 5 sector.
Experience of at least 5 years as RSPP and/or EHS coordinator in a manufacturing site, preferably within a multinational company.
Proficiency in both written and spoken English is required.
