We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our Engineering Team in Beinasco. In this role, you will be responsible for software design and development related to conveyors and Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs), supporting both project execution and technical innovation.
YOUR TASKS
- Review hardware design quality, identify electrical issues, and provide timely feedback to the hardware design team
- Implement virtual commissioning using plant simulation tools
- Support R&D; initiatives and drive technical innovation within the team
- Organize software kick-off meetings and facilitate software commissioning with master groups
- Develop and maintain standard software and AGV-related documentation, such as programming/configuration manuals, parameter setting instructions, and training materials
- Train and mentor junior engineers to build team capability
- Providing technical support in customer projects on a global scale as required
GOALS
- Deliver software design and development according to project milestones and requirements
- Ensure high quality of AGV software programs prior to commissioning
- Support onsite commissioning activities and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) as needed
YOUR QUALIFICATION
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, with at least 3 years focused on AGV software programming and commissioning
- Excellent proficiency in English (written and spoken). Italian and / or German or any other language skills is a plus
- Proven experience in AGV software design, project implementation, and troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of motion control and visualization design/programming
- Proficiency in Siemens TIA Portal, Allen-Bradley Studio 5000, and C#
- Effective self-management skills to meet deadlines and project goals
- Strong soft skills including creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, adaptability, and communication
