RE:LAB is a design and innovation company specialized in shaping the interaction between people and complex technologies.
Since 2004, we have been working on products and systems used daily across the automotive, industrial, and consumer sectors. Our goal is to make advanced technology understandable, safe, and natural to use.
We don’t just design interfaces. We design experiences that bring together design, engineering, human factors, and artificial intelligence. Our multidisciplinary team tackles real-world challenges in highly complex contexts, where quality and reliability are essential.
We partner with global companies when user experience is not a detail, but a critical factor for a product’s success—when adoption, safety, and user trust truly make the difference.
At RE:LAB, we believe technology should feel human. This belief guides the way we work, the design decisions we make, and the relationships we build every day.
Designing human experiences for complex technologies.
To strengthen our HMI and design activities, we are looking for a UX Designer to contribute to the definition, validation, and documentation of interaction concepts for complex digital systems.
The role focuses on structuring user interactions, supporting the definition of test scenarios and user cases, and ensuring alignment between design intent, technical implementation, and validation activities. The selected candidate will collaborate with multiple teams, acting as a bridge between concept design, engineering teams, and project partners involved in the development process.
Main Activities
* Define and structure interaction flows, user cases, and system behaviors for digital and HMI systems.
* Support the preparation of UX test scenarios and validation activities related to user interaction.
* Contribute to the analysis and verification of interaction concepts during development and testing phases.
* Prepare structured UX documentation and functional specifications supporting development teams.
* Work closely with concept teams to translate early design ideas into clear interaction models.
* Act as a coordination point between design teams, technical departments, and project partners, ensuring alignment across the development process.
* Use design tools such as Figma to structure and communicate interaction concepts and interface logic.
* Degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, Human–Computer Interaction, Cognitive Ergonomics, or related fields.
* Solid experience working with Figma for interface design, interaction structuring, and documentation of interaction flows.
* Experience in defining user flows, use cases, and interaction logic for complex digital systems.
* Experience supporting UX testing, validation activities, or scenario-based analysis.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams and project partners.
* Ability to mediate between concept design, technical constraints, and project requirements.
* Analytical mindset and strong attention to detail, particularly in structuring and documenting interaction logic.
* Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
Nice to Have
* Experience working on HMI systems or complex digital products, particularly in technology-driven environments.
* Familiarity with requirements documentation and system-level interaction specifications.
* Experience collaborating with project partners or multidisciplinary teams across different organizations.
* Sensitivity to usability evaluation and user-centered validation processes.
* Exposure to projects involving mobility systems or advanced interaction environments.
Schedule: Full- time, 40 hours per week.
Location: Torino, on site.
Our Promise
We build technology for people—and that same principle guides how we work together. At RE:LAB, you’ll find more than a role: a place where ideas are valued, growth is supported, and individual perspectives contribute to meaningful innovation.
Our Values in Action
* Integrity first: we act with transparency and responsibility in every decision, project, and interaction.
* Diversity as a strength: different backgrounds and viewpoints help us solve complex problems better.
* Inclusion by design: we encourage open dialogue and create space for everyone to contribute.
* Growth mindset: we support continuous learning and professional development through real projects and shared expertise.
