From Day 1 you are empowered to make a difference for a better tomorrow with your full potential and creativity. /ph3Your Challenge /h3pAs a Senior Legal Counsel your mission will be to contribute to the business goals of Siemens Mobility and to protect the Company’s reputation for integrity by showing effective Leadership, exploiting the opportunities law provides, contributing proactively to master the business challenges, taking ownership of contract risk evaluation and preparation in compliance with the Italian Law (Codice degli Appalti), ensuring timely and efficient contract analysis and evaluation. /ph3Some of the main activities will be: /h3ulliCounsel business partners as a trusted advisor in legal matters of high complexity within assigned area. /liliIdentify and analyze legal risks and opportunities, and drive solutions. /liliManage legal proceedings and claims by analyzing legal situation, gathering related legal data and setting up a salvation strategy. /liliManage claims, both offensive and defensive. /liliEnsure effective legal control of agreements by drafting/reviewing and negotiating agreements in assigned area. /liliFile reports on material legal risks and proceedings to meet relevant internal and external regulations and requirements. /liliEnsure adherence to given legal policies and processes. /liliHandle outside counsel. /liliRepresent legal expertise and act as an ambassador for the internal and external legal community. /li /ulpstrongTo be a perfect fit for this role, you would already have: /strong /pulliDegree in law. Fully educated lawyer with excellent academic background. /liliProfessional experience in similar roles of minimum 10 years. /liliUnderstanding of the risks of the contract(s) and the potential legal and financial consequences associated therewith. /liliDeep knowledge of Italian Commercial, Civil and Public Procurement Law. /liliKnowledge of general contractual standards. /liliAt least 3 years of experience in working on major complex projects and in their risk appraisal and claims management. /liliAnalytical, communication and influencing skills. /liliUse of independent judgment and creativity in resolution of contract claim issues. /liliInternal and external negotiation skills. /liliProficiency in Italian. Good oral and written English is required.
