Role Overview
We are seeking a
Regional Connectivity & Port Strategy Analyst
to support our work in Southern and Eastern Europe, with a focus on maritime gateway cities and trans-European transport corridors. Based in
Trieste
, a critical hub for Adriatic trade, the Analyst will contribute to strategic projects exploring port logistics, intermodal infrastructure, and regional integration frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyze port infrastructure, logistics performance, and transport corridor alignment in the Adriatic and Central European regions
* Support development of investment blueprints for port modernization, customs innovation, and multimodal hubs
* Draft policy briefs, technical notes, and stakeholder engagement reports for clients in the infrastructure sector
* Collaborate on trade corridor diagnostics and visual data mapping tools
* Conduct regional benchmarking on maritime governance and connectivity strategies
Preferred Qualifications
* Degree in Maritime Studies, International Trade, Regional Development, or Transport Economics
* 2–5 years of experience in port logistics, infrastructure strategy, or European regional planning
* Familiarity with EU TEN-T networks, cross-border trade policies, and Adriatic integration efforts
* Excellent writing and analytical skills
* Fluency in English required
