We deliver innovative acoustic-only solutions for mobile, Wi-Fi, and base stations across new 5G bands and beyond. /p pbRole Overview: /bWe are seeking a Radio Frequency Front-End Filter Designer to play a central role in introducing and bringing to market advanced RF filters for 5G communications. This position places strong emphasis on design-for-manufacturing (DFM) and yield optimization, ensuring our resonators and filters achieve high performance and manufacturability at scale. /p pYou will collaborate with a dynamic team of designers, system engineers, and production specialists to design, analyze, and optimize acoustic and RF filters, while also investigating yield challenges and driving continuous improvement across the product lifecycle. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign, synthesis, analysis, and optimization of RF front-end filters (SAW, BAW, MEMS, IPD, microstrip, cavity) /li liCharacterize and analyze resonator and filter performance through wafer- and board-level measurements /li liApply statistical yield analysis methods (SPC, DOE, regression, Pareto analysis, Six Sigma) to identify variability sources and optimize yield /li liDevelop and implement design-for-manufacturing strategies to ensure scalability and robustness of filter designs /li liInvestigate and determine root causes of yield loss, proposing corrective actions and long-term mitigation strategies /li liCollaborate with system-level designers to ensure seamless integration of filters with other front-end components /li liPartner with production and supply chain teams to monitor yield trends, process stability, and manufacturing challenges /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 pbEducation: /b /p ul liM.S. and/or B.S. with 3+ years of relevant work experience, or /li liPh.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related field /li /ul pbTechnical Skills: /b /p ul liPrior experience with SAW, BAW, MEMS, IPD, microstrip, or cavity resonator/filter design /li liProficiency in finite element analysis (FEA) or analytical methods for acoustics/electromagnetics optimization /li liSolid understanding of filter synthesis techniques and microwave design principles /li liExperience with statistical analysis methods for yield optimization /li liSkilled in design layout and automation tools /li liBasic knowledge of micro-device manufacturing processes and variability sources /li liFamiliarity with RF and microwave measurement instruments and techniques /li /ul pbSoft Skills: /b /p ul liStrong problem-solving and root cause analysis abilities /li liExcellent communication skills (English required) /li liTeam-oriented, proactive, and detail-focused mindset /li /ul h3Why Join Us? /h3 pAt Spectron Microsystems, you’ll be part of a pioneering team shaping the future of RF filtering technology.
