A Bar Manager is responsible for the financial success of the Cone Club Bar, overseeing administrative, leadership, and practical tasks. Their primary goal is to ensure efficient bar operations and an excellent customer experience. They are also tasked with staff development and management. Key duties include:
Leading a small team by example, assisting with drink preparation and table service when needed.
Ensuring the front-of-house is adequately staffed, especially during peak hours.
Meeting sales and profitability targets.
Creating a welcoming environment for customers.
Serving consistent, high-quality beverages.
Handling customer feedback and resolving complaints effectively.
Fostering a positive work environment and supporting staff career development.
Monitoring beverage inventory to maintain stock levels.
Overseeing cleanliness and health standards in the bar area, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
Requirements for the role include:
At least 2 years of experience working in a busy bar, pub, or restaurant environment.
Excellent knowledge of daily bar operations.
Leadership experience with proven ability to manage accounts, handle payments, and set budgets.
Experience in meeting sales targets; marketing experience is a plus.
Customer service experience and ability to engage positively with customers.
Language skills in English and Italian.
Strong leadership skills.
