Ph3Job Description /h3 ul liManagement of samples from receiving, internal distribution through lab testing to dispatch dispositioning using database software and basic Microsoft programs such as MS Word and Excel. /li liChecking samples against sample requirement and raising any issues to Project team. /li liEnsure samples are managed within quality process and in compliance with according the UL Quality and accreditation process requirements. /li liWorking with teams to ensure samples are ready and available for test start internal customers and stored in the correct location. /li liCommunicating and guiding internal customers on sample return via phone and email. /li liSupport laboratory, engineering and shipping/receiving teams. /li liMay also be responsible for maintenance of the warehouse. /li liIntegrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job. /li liAssist and trains staff as directed. /li liMay assist leadership in the development of training as necessary. /li liMay develop or assist in the creation of reports and metrics as necessary. /li liMaintain an organized, safe, clean and productive work area. /li liConducts periodic inventories of sample storage areas. /li liReports any lost, missing or damaged samples and assists in the research and resolution. /li liRead and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices. /li liOther duties as assigned. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liHigh school diploma or GED equivalency. Ability to operate equipment associated with material handling which may include forklift operation. /li liAbility to use Microsoft Outlook and Excel. /li liAbility to work with hand and small power tools such as saws and drills in a safe manner. /li liPhysical demands include, but are not limited to, standing, reaching, stooping/bending, walking and lifting/carrying objects up to 60 lbs.
