Our technology addresses real problems that affect the future of humanity.Your ChallengeThe role oversees the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and technical management of Operational Technology (OT) systems — including PLCs, DCSs, SCADA platforms, and industrial networks — both onsite and at customer facilities along with the ability to manage projects and customer relationships effectively.Main Activities
Perform installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of OT systems (PLCs, DCSs, SCADA, HMIs, field devices, and industrial networks)Manage small-to-medium service projects, from planning and scheduling to execution and reportingEnsure proper coordination of resources, timelines, and technical documentation in collaboration with internal and customer teamsExecute software configuration, updates, and diagnostics for automation systemsSupport remote and onsite assistance activities to guarantee system uptime and performanceCollaborate with sales and project management teams to identify service opportunities and technical improvements

Become the technical and project reference point for OT service activities within the Service Execution divisionLead service or modernization projects, ensuring technical quality, budget control, and customer satisfactionContribute to digitalization and continuous improvement initiatives related to Siemens automation systems
Qualifications
Proven experience in technical service, commissioning, or project management within the OT or industrial automation domainBachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical fieldStrong knowledge of Siemens or equivalent automation platforms (SIMATIC S7, PCS 7, TIA Portal, WinCC, DCS systems)Experience in planning, coordinating, and managing service or installation projectsFamiliarity with industrial communication protocols (PROFINET, PROFIBUS, Modbus, OPC, Ethernet/IP, etc.)Basic understanding of IT/OT integration and industrial networkingFluency in Italian and English, both written and spokenAvailability to travel frequently across Italy, and occasionally abroadExcellent problem‐solving, organizational, and communication skills, with a strong customer orientation
